Every contribution makes a difference

Volunteers are at the heart of Largs Public School P&C.

Whether you can help for an hour, assist with a single event or contribute regularly, your time and skills can make a meaningful difference to students, families and the wider school community.

Ways to help

Volunteer opportunities may include:

• helping at P&C events and fundraising activities;
• setting up, packing down or serving on the day;
• assisting with communications, promotion or photography;
• supporting working bees and practical projects;
• approaching local businesses or community organisations;
• sharing professional, creative or practical skills;
• joining a project or event planning group;
• helping with administration, coordination or sponsorship.

The type of help needed changes throughout the year, and opportunities will be advertised as they arise.

You choose how much you contribute

There is no expectation that volunteers commit to every activity.

Some people help once or twice a year. Others support a particular project, attend meetings or take on an ongoing role. All levels of involvement are welcome and appreciated.

You do not need previous experience

Most volunteer tasks are straightforward, and guidance will be provided where needed.

You do not need to be a P&C committee member to volunteer, although some activities may require registration, supervision or checks depending on the nature of the role.
