Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. Staff work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our Principal

Committed to excellence in teaching and learning, Largs Public School focuses on providing quality educational experiences that are engaging and differentiated. Students develop lifelong skills by becoming empowered, creative and critical thinkers with a strong curiosity for learning.

Through robust wellbeing programs and support systems, the school empowers students to reach their full potential by fostering innovation, resilience, empathy and compassion for others.

Strong partnerships with parents and carers are essential to achieving the best possible learning outcomes for students. By working closely together, sharing insights and supporting one another, the school community helps ensure that every child receives the encouragement and guidance they need to thrive academically and personally.

A message from the P&C Committee

Welcome to the Largs Public School P&C.

Our association brings together parents, carers, school staff and community members who want to make a positive contribution to school life. We work closely with Largs Public School to support opportunities, resources, events and projects that benefit students and strengthen connections across our community.

There are many ways to be involved. You might attend a meeting, share an idea, help at an event, volunteer for a particular project or simply lend a hand when you can. Every contribution—large or small—helps us build a welcoming, connected and supportive school community.

We are proud of Largs Public School, its history and the people who make it such a special place. We warmly invite all families and community members to get to know the P&C and take part in whatever way suits them.

Working together for our school

The Largs Public School Parents and Citizens Association—commonly known as the P&C—is a community-led group of parents, carers, citizens and school representatives who work together to support Largs Public School and its students.

We provide a welcoming place for families and community members to share ideas, contribute to school life and help make practical improvements for students.

What we do

The P&C supports the school community through activities such as:

  • organising community events and fundraising initiatives;
  • supporting projects, resources and opportunities that benefit students;
  • encouraging communication and cooperation between families and the school;
  • providing opportunities for parents, carers and community members to contribute their skills, time and ideas;
  • building partnerships with local businesses and community organisations.

Our priorities are guided by the needs of the school community and the decisions made by P&C members.

Everyone is welcome

You do not need special experience or a large amount of spare time to be involved. Some people attend meetings, some volunteer at events, some help with particular projects, and others contribute ideas or practical support when they can.

Every contribution matters.

Working in partnership

The P&C works closely with the school while remaining a separate community organisation. By bringing together families, staff and local supporters, we help strengthen the connection between the school and the community around it.

Get involved

Becoming involved in the P&C is a practical way to meet other families, learn more about what is happening at the school and help create positive outcomes for students.
